f you are looking for the “TRUE BLUE TIGER SAFARI” experience then this tour is one for the books - the real "Mc Coy of Safaris" – the way it was done in bygone days of the Maharajas but these days hunting with cameras rather than guns! This safari excites me the most - moving from jungle to jungle, setting up our own mobile/fly camps on the ‘Trail of the Tiger’. On this safari you will experience the thrill of traveling with your very own safari staff for a full week through central India.

Being able to drive in a 4 wheel SUV into the jungles of central India at night after a day’s tiger spotting and then relaxing by the camp fire enjoying a single malt is an amazing adventure........... AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME.

The maximum guests for this tour are 8 and must be conversant in the English language. It is important that they all be known to each other (friends/relatives).

Itinerary for Central India Safari Experience:

Day 1. Fly from Bombay or Delhi to Raipur arriving in the afternoon, followed by an hour and a half’s drive to an art deco palace –our base for the night. This evening you are introduced to your safari team and enjoy the local surroundings with some tribal dances in the evening.

Day 2. After breakfast you head out with your safari staff in a convoy of jeeps, SUV’s and trucks carrying your safari gear along with the mobile tent equipment. A three hour drive brings you to the famous Kanha Wildlife Reserve. While you take a game drive your safari team
will set up your very own private camp for 2 nights. The following day there will be two game drives in the reserve.

Day 3. While at breakfast the boys break camp and load the trucks to start for our next destination - Bandhavgarh Wildlife sanctuary (7 hrs drive). A cold picnic lunch will be served enroute. Upon late afternoon arrival the team sets up camp for 2 days
here while you enjoy a few cocktails. There will be two jungle game drives on day 5.

Day 4.After breakfast take a charter flight (CHOPPER) out of Bandhavgarh for Delhi enroute stop over for a few hours at Khajuraho to see the famous temples. Or the Safari leaves for Khajuraho a seven hour drive and stay at one of the many hotels there.

Day 5.This morning after breakfast finish sightseeing the famous temples at Khajuraho; shop for local crafts and then catch the afternoon flight out. Every evening there will be different forms of entertainment.

It is a pity that we can do only one such safari in a year- due to my various commitments in Rajasthan, book early to avoid disappointment!
