A dream since I was a child, I have now been able to make The Raoti a reality as it sits on ancestral land that I was recently fortunate enough to be able to buy back.

This land is the closest exclusive property to the magnificent Meheranga Fort of Jodhpur and although the old mansion house sits a kilometer away, these large grounds will soon provide the ideal lunch stop destination. A colonial building in the shade of the fort, where camel polo will be played, dancing horses will entertain and for more relaxation, a traditional step well that will soon be converted into a spa. For our guests horse carriages to take them to the fort will also be available.

By Fall 2009, The Raoti will be further developed into a boutique residence which will also incorporate a jazz/ blues after-hours lounge.
