The one nighter at The Camel Camp Osian is fun but just does not do justice to the FULL Desert Experience. The big hit is our two night camel safari with the first night out in the desert – camp set up only for you and the second night at our permanent camp- THE CAMEL CAMP AT OSIAN.

 ( A ) 2 Days / 1 Night ( Early Afternoon )

Day 1. Arrival at The Camel Camp, Osian around lunch time.

• At around 3.00 pm start your short Camel Safari to nearby villages and if you are up for a longer ride then ride to the oasis village Khetasar (2.30 hrs ride). Enroute one get to see Blue bulls, Gazelles, Foxes, Hare etc. One also visits the local potter, weavers, Bishnois huts along the Safari route.
• In the evening at the camp there's folk entertainment followed by a candlelit BBQ dinner. After which the guests are invited to the lodge for a complimentary rum (a cozy place to sip your cognacs or smoke a cigar) then either retire to your tents or sit around the fire.
  

Day 2: Next morning after breakfast on your way to your next destination take a short tour of the famous Jain temples .

The 2 days/ 1 night Safari package costs Rs 11,000/ for a dbl tent occupancy and Rs 10,000/ for a sgl tent. a single tent. This tariff is nett and non commissionable. Rs 5,000/ for extra bed

 

(C) 3 days / 2 Night

• Day 1. Afternoon arrival at village ' Bikamkor' (16 kms from Osian on the Jodhpur-Osian-phalodi-Jaisalmer highway) with packed lunch. On arrival you will be met by our Safari staff and Camel riders. Then start your Camel Safari for village 'Dabdi'. A 2.00 hours ride.
  Just before sunset arrive at your very own mobile camp set up exclusively for you. Evening under the stars followed by a candlelit dinner. Night at Dabdi dunes. Distance covered-9 kms.
  

• Day 2. Breakfast and then start your Safari through the Thar Desert. After a 4 hours ride we approach the oasis village 'Khetasar' where we visit the local weavers and the potters. Here lunch will be served by the oasis or at a village hut. After an hours break resume Safari for The permanent Camel Camp Osian-- a three hours ride. After lunch you alkso have the option of taking the jeep back to enjoy our swimming pool located on the highest sanddune. Evening folk entertainment followed by dinner. All along the Safari route we will be stopping at different tribal dwellings and viewing various species of desert wildlife- the likes of bluebull (one of asia's largest antelopes), gazelle's, foxes, hare alongwith partridges, sand grouses, peacocks, demoiselle cranes etc. Distance covered-25 kms.

• Day 3. After breakfast take a short tour of the famous Osian (8th century) temples and then proceed to next destination.
  

The 3 days/ 2 nights Safari package costs Rs 30,000/ for a dbl tent dbl occupancy and Rs 28,000/ for a dbl tent for a single tent. This tariff is net and non commissionable.
